💛 May Round Up 💛

This month, your spare change is going somewhere creative.

We're honored to support Caravan Art Bazaar, a volunteer-run collective of BIPOC artists and organizations right here in WNC. CAB provides free marketing and sales opportunities for local artists while organizing events and programs that funnel money into mutual aid near and far.

Their ART4AID program is the heart of it. A portion of art sales goes directly to grassroots initiatives working on affordable housing, food assistance, disaster relief, rainforest conservation, anti-human trafficking, cultural preservation, and more. Since early 2024, they've helped raise over $17,000 in mutual aid funding. That's a lot of good from a collective powered entirely by volunteers.

Some of the local organizations CAB has raised funds for include Asheville's Community Land Trust, Grassroots Aid Partnership, Soul & Soil Project, Southside Community Farm, and WNC AAPI.

Here's how you can help:

When you Round Up at the Register this May, every cent you donate goes directly to Caravan Art Bazaar.

And we match every cent you give, up to $1,000!

A few cents becomes a few dollars. A few dollars becomes real support for artists and communities across WNC and beyond.

Keep your eyes open, too. CAB artwork will be hitting our shelves soon!
