This month we want you to meet our neighbors at Deep Time. They roast their coffee right here on Haywood Road, inside Trinity United Methodist Church. Deep Time started in 2023 to create jobs for people impacted by incarceration. Every bag is roasted by people building a fresh start, and the whole team shows up for this neighborhood in a big way. And, you can find Deep Time coffee on our shelves at the Market! It's great coffee, and buying it keeps that work going right here in West Asheville. π π Our October Recipe Pick: Extraordinary Granola Waffles A good cup of coffee deserves a good breakfast to go with it! We spotted this video recently on the Pete's Extraordinary Granola instagram. She pours her waffle batter into the iron and tops it with their Cherries & Pistachio before closing the lid. The granola toasts right into the waffle, so you get a crisp, crunchy bite with big pieces of dried cherry! Pete's is one of our favorite granolas here at the Market, and a local brand as well!
